We had looked at a motorized slider solution for a couple of years now, and to be honest, the price has always scared us away. A motorized slider is big purchase for our two man company. While continuing to research sliders on the internet, we found the Emotimo Spectrum videos and we knew what we wanted. Any doubt we had about the price, disappeared as soon as we ran our first programmed shot. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Blown away is more like it. The Emotimo Spectrum is everything they say it is in the videos. The unit is a solid, quality built, and great looking piece of gear. Super easy to use. Combined with the iFootage Shark slider, repeatable programmed moves are literally at your fingertips. Program your shot, and the Spectrum will hit it's mark every time. The Focus-Iris-Zoom is nice, however it did take us a little time to get truly comfortable with it. We added a focus gear ring, made sure the lens and motor line up properly, and no issues. The lens and the motor lining up are necessary for best performance. We have even did Hitchcock's Vertigo move with this bundle. I can see this rapidly becoming one of our top 5 pieces of gear. We are very satisfied customers, and we will be Emotimo fans for life.

Stunning, Can't Wait to see what future firmware brings
From Maddogs Television of Southampton, UK, United Kingdom on 5/18/2016.
This is a hell of a thing. If you've used the previous eMotimo products the PT or TB3 then the Spectrum ST4 will make sense to you, but if not, in a nutshell it's amazing. The previous models did timelapse really well and latterly added video support reasonably well. The Spectrum does timelapse and video equally well. The firmware is only in it's infancy at the moment, so 3 point moves, panoramas, and programmed video moves are a little way off. But the included timelapse mode works very well, and the use of the PlayStation buttons to set and define positions is very clever. As the firmware matures this product will get even better!Build wise, it's like a tank, solid with a robust feeling, it feels like something that can survive almost any environment you'll be working in. Top stuff!
Great for time lapse
From Michael Reynolds of Berkeley, California on 4/24/2016.
So far, I'm really enjoying my new Spectrum. Used my TB3 Black for years, but the Spectrum is clearly a step up in performance. A little pricey, but worth it. The new controller is great. The screen on the unit is a little small, but still readable. It integrates seamlessly with the Dynamic Preception slider. Still learning all of the vido functions. So far, Spectrum is meeting or exceeding my expectations.
Spectrum ST4 first impressions

This products potential is just starting and the roadmap for all the great integration with video on top of the awesome timelapse functions will make this a stable in your story telling process.
