I'd been waiting for this to be released and I have to say I'm really impressed.I have two other Kessler motors and I now no longer carry them with me . This motor does everything I need. It's powerfull enough to do vertical time lapses and to be able to control everything from my emotimo makes setup time so much quicker.

Very impressed with the product, got it as a 3 axis solution for my kessler shuttle pod. I love Kessler products but I have to say the TB3 Black will make my set ups take 10 minutes shorter to set up. My power packs from kessler are able to power it as well so thats a huge bonus. Just waiting for some clear night skies here up in northern michigan and some northern lights and I'm ready to get the ball rolling on this.
3/5/2014 – I am curious about noise/volume of these motors during operation. I would love to use this as a possible option for panning . . .
Response From eMotimo: Hey Jeremy, These things do make some noise - especially during programming. If you are using lapel mikes, the sound isn't noticable if the rig is 6 feet or greater, but you cannot use the on camera mike and get usable sound. Thanks!
2/8/2014 – will this work with my Phillip bloom/kessler slider?
Response From eMotimo: Sure will. If you don't already have a motorized setup, you need to buy the "Philip Bloom Pocket Dolly Motor Mount" from Kessler for $99. This will allow this motor mount to hook right up.
11/10/2013 – I recently purchased an Emotimo PT. Will the Kessler Stepper Motor Pod work talk with the Emotimo PT? Thanks!
Response From eMotimo: The eMotimo PT does panning and tilting, but it does not have an AUX Port to power a 3rd-axis. Therefore, it will not be able to power the Stepper Motor Pod.
11/9/2013 – I have the Kessler Phillip Bloom Pocket Dolly (Traveler version, 29.5 inches). It has an end mounted Kessler 500 series motor . . .
Response From eMotimo: Start off with the 27:1 motor - it is super powerful and is very precise and repeatable. It will allow you to go vertical with most setups.the 5:1 is faster, but if time lapse is your primary goal the 27:1 is the place to start.
10/22/2013 – My slider from Kessler is already motorized. What do I need to order to make my TB3 work with it?
Response From eMotimo: If you already have the Kessler motor system, our pods are drop in replacements. You only need this product. If aren't currently mounting motors, you will need a motor mounting plate specific to your slider from Kessler. You can find these plates here - http://www.kesslercrane.com/motor-mounts-s/112.htm
